Chapter 1409: Chapter 1406: Opinion
Although the clan leaders of the smaller tribes are also clan leaders, in reality, their status isn’t as high as even a hunting team leader from a major tribe.
Geni greeting in such a manner was already very inappropriate.
The orcs glanced worriedly at the Black Mountain Tribal Chief opposite them. Sure enough, the other party’s brows had furrowed.
"I have something to discuss with the two clan leaders. Could we go inside the tribe?"
Geni smiled and gestured behind him, "The orcs are still working here. Let’s go to the old straw huts."
The Black Mountain Clan Leader furrowed his eyebrows again but still followed Geni towards the simple straw huts.
The orcs from the two hunting teams behind him also stepped forward, ready to follow, but were stopped by the orcs patrolling at the tribe’s entrance.
The sharp stone spears pointed at them, preventing the orcs upfront from moving forward.
The commotion behind drew the attention of several clan leaders. The Black Mountain Tribal Chief turned around and saw his tribesmen being stopped there.
He turned his head, his gaze coldly sharp as he looked at Canai, "Chief Geni, what do you mean by this?"
Geni, however, appeared indifferent, "There’s no need to be angry, Chief. You can bring a few tribesmen with you, but with so many tribesmen entering, I’m afraid my small tribe can’t accommodate them all."
The Black Mountain Clan Leader narrowed his eyes, finally sensing something amiss.
This Chief Geni was too calm, too peaceful when seeing him, unlike the previous clan leaders who were anxious and uneasy. Could it be that he already knew why he had come?
Then, the Black Mountain Clan Leader sneered. Even if he knew, so what?
Could he possibly refuse him?
He turned around and brought in a hunting team leader before following Geni into the straw huts.
The straw hut area was quite desolate; some had already collapsed, clearly without any beasts residing there, and the ground was scattered with dried grass.
"Judging from Chief Geni’s demeanor, you must already know the purpose of my visit. I’ll get straight to the point, this time I am here hoping that your tribe’s orcs can assist us in attacking the Ancient Wood Forest."
The Black Mountain Tribal Chief raised his chin slightly, with a hint of arrogance and certainty.
He believed Geni wouldn’t dare refuse him.
Upon hearing this, Geni looked at the Black Mountain Tribal Chief, "Assistance is possible. I’m curious, after the conflict ends, which piece of the Ancient Wood Forest would our tribe be allocated?"
As Geni said this, the Black Mountain Tribal Chief’s eyes gradually showed disdain, and the orc beside him sneered, "The Shaman has said that if you send out orcs, we’ll allocate the current territory of our tribe to you."
The Black Mountain Clan Leader glanced at the surrounding clan leaders, "Since none of the clan leaders have any objections, I suppose... Chief Geni won’t have any objections either."
Geni sighed, "In the past, we could send out some orcs without much issue, but now it’s not feasible. This is such a big matter; I need to consult the Shaman."
Consult the Shaman!!!
The Black Mountain Clan Leader completely misunderstood and frowned at Geni, "The old Shaman doesn’t have time to see you now. You can agree directly."
But Geni shook his head, "I’m not talking about your tribe’s Shaman, but our tribe’s Shaman."
This statement astonished all the beasts.
