Chapter 315: Chapter 313: Proactive Iroha Gets a Treat_1
Sunday arrived on schedule.
Even though the alarm on Aozawa’s phone did not go off, he still woke up at six o’clock sharp in the morning.
He had gone to bed relatively early the previous night, making it difficult for his biological clock to let him sleep in until eight or nine.
It was the last day of the week. Staring at the ceiling, Aozawa wondered what new Superpower he might have tomorrow.
After pondering for a bit, he did not continue to lounge in bed; he got up and took off his pajamas.
Aozawa put on a white T-shirt and blue sports pants and slipped on a pair of flip-flops.
That was his outfit for the date. When he opened the door, Morimoto Chiyoda was there doing yoga.
"Good morning, Chitose."
"Mhm." Morimoto Chiyoda responded with a nasal sound. She glanced at his outfit and asked, "Are you going out on a date with someone?"
"Yeah, today Iroha invited me to a picnic at Sheron Park."
Receiving this answer, Morimoto Chiyoda’s eyes narrowed slightly, her emotions a complex mix.
Iroha’s appearance was unexpected. She had assumed the other girl would back down after learning Aozawa wouldn’t give her up.
"Has she agreed to be your girlfriend?"
"Not yet."
Aozawa’s reply drifted from the bathroom. "But I’m confident I can make her accept your existence."
Morimoto Chiyoda retorted, "Don’t use such a passionate, righteous tone to talk about something like two-timing. I wouldn’t blame you even if you were a bit lazy about it."
"For guys, this *is* being passionate and righteous."
Aozawa squeezed toothpaste onto his brush and filled his cup with water.
"Yeah, right."
Morimoto Chiyoda felt that this morning was worse than all the mornings of the previous month combined.
The pig they were raising at home was about to go and root through someone else’s cabbages. And she, who should have been enjoying a leisurely holiday, had to work and meet a Police Director whose personality and abilities were a complete mystery.
Although the Morgan Family was famous, trying to get information on their eldest son was as hard as climbing to heaven. In the so-called free market of the United States, one could buy and sell information about ordinary people and even politicians, but information about Ponte was unobtainable. The ’freedom’ of the free market was defined by those big capitalists. But Morimoto Chiyoda could imagine the kind of heir such a major family would produce. No matter how gentle they appeared on the surface, deep down they likely possessed a pride that made them difficult to get along with. Work was vexing, and so was love.
Morimoto Chiyoda took a moment to think, then decided to devote herself completely to yoga.
"AAH."
With each movement she made, a comfortable sound, like a sigh from a satisfying stretch, emanated from her and reached the bathroom.
Aozawa, who was brushing his teeth, heard it. It sounded like a high-quality erotic film was playing outside. Just the sound alone was enough to make someone fantasize until they were utterly spent. Chitose, is this jealousy? If so, that was far too provocative.
Aozawa complained internally and continued brushing his teeth.
「...」
「Adachi District — Sheron Park.」
This was the most famous park in the Adachi District, bar none. Every holiday, crowds would come to Sheron Park for walks and picnics. To have a picnic here, one needed to reserve a spot in advance.
Ayatsuki Ayaka, through Maru’s connections, had successfully reserved a spot on the lawn.
She arrived early, not choosing a flashy Hot Girl look, but rather a pure and innocent outfit that matched the picnic atmosphere. A sky-blue sundress covered her knees, revealing her shoulders and part of her back. As for her chest, it was undeniably deep—the kind that, at a glance, one would understand could seemingly swallow an entire finger. She wore a large, wide-brimmed hat tied with a thin string under her chin, her dyed long hair cascading over her shoulders.
Ayatsuki Ayaka hummed a tune as she placed her basket on the lawn. She took out a picnic mat—a light yellow printed cloth—and spread it out.
The weather was pleasant, with no sign of rain, and fluffy white clouds of various shapes drifted across the azure sky.
Ayatsuki Ayaka took off her sandals and stepped barefoot onto the mat. She took her phone from the basket to check the time: five minutes to eight-thirty.
She knelt on the picnic mat, mentally recalling the techniques Saeko had taught her and confirming the plan and steps for today’s date.
After a short while, Ayatsuki Ayaka took a deep breath. Having finished her mental review, she spotted the young man on the path just beyond the lawn.
She raised her right hand high, waving. "Aozawa, over here!"
"Yeah, coming!" Aozawa replied from a distance. His gaze swept across the lawn, noting that besides them, it was filled with families with children. Children, likely acquainted with one another, chased and frolicked on the lawn, their innocent laughter echoing.
Aozawa didn’t dislike such a heartwarming scene. He walked up to Ayatsuki Ayaka and smiled. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Iroha."
"It’s okay, I haven’t waited long." Ayatsuki Ayaka shook her head, her body swaying with the movement.
Standing there, Aozawa felt his gaze almost irresistibly drawn to the gentle undulation.
Truly dangerous, he thought. Snapping back to reality, he stepped out of his flip-flops onto the picnic mat and sat down next to Ayatsuki Ayaka. He naturally took her soft hand and asked, "What game are we playing?"
"Ta-da! I came prepared. We roll dice, and the highest roll wins. Then the winner picks a slip of paper from inside."
"By the way, these are notes written by Saeko, Maru, and Kaoru. Even I don’t know what they say. Exciting, right?"
Ayatsuki Ayaka pulled dice and a box filled with paper slips from the basket. "You have to do whatever the note says, no cheating!"
"I see."
Aozawa smiled. He only needed to use his X-ray Ability for a moment to see what was written on the slips inside the box. He could make Iroha do whatever he wanted.
"Okay."
"I’ll go first!" Ayatsuki Ayaka declared. Saeko had drilled her relentlessly in rolling dice. While she couldn’t be called a gambling prodigy, her skill was enough to best an average high school student.
"Watch this!" she exclaimed, swiftly grabbing the dice cup and shaking it. Listening to the three dice clatter crisply inside, she slammed the cup down and then lifted it. "A four, a five, and another five! Haha, your turn."
Ayatsuki Ayaka’s eyes danced with excitement. The three dice totaled fourteen points, which was very high.
Seeing her celebrating prematurely, Aozawa decided to give her a little shock with his Superpower. He picked up the dice cup, activated his X-ray Ability to see the three dice inside, then casually shook it and placed it on the picnic mat.
His invisible Telekinesis activated, instantly turning all three dice to sixes.
Ayatsuki Ayaka couldn’t help but smirk. With such clumsy shaking, I’ve definitely won, she thought.
Aozawa lifted the cup. "Three sixes."
"WHAT?!" Ayatsuki Ayaka’s face was a mask of shock. She glanced at him. "Aozawa, you haven’t secretly practiced this, have you?"
"Nope." Aozawa looked perfectly innocent.
Ayatsuki Ayaka simply chalked it up to his good luck and handed him the box. "Then you draw one."
Aozawa’s X-ray Ability was still active. He looked into the box, skipping over the prank notes, and selected a rather appealing one.
He reached into the box, fished around, pulled out a slip, and unfolded it. "The loser wets a piece of tissue. The winner then commands the loser to place it on a designated part of the winner’s body—like the neck, waist, or thigh. The loser must then retrieve the tissue using only their mouth."
"EH?!"
Ayatsuki Ayaka’s face flushed crimson. She wasn’t lying; her three friends had written those notes and delivered them that morning. Even she didn’t know what they contained. In their words, a game like this was both fair and thrilling.
"Iroha, you’re not going to back out, are you?"
"Of course not," Ayatsuki Ayaka muttered. She took a packet of tissues from the basket, pulled one out, and opened a bottle of mineral water to wet it. Her sun-kissed cheeks deepened in color as she asked, "Where... where do you want it?"
"Stick it on my abdomen," Aozawa said, lifting his shirt to reveal his well-defined eight-pack abs.
Ayatsuki Ayaka’s cheeks burned even hotter. She felt a twinge of complaint towards Maru and the others; this was far too stimulating! It felt like her brain was melting into liquid, then rapidly vaporizing in the heat, about to escape as steam from her ears and nose.
Ayatsuki Ayaka gulped, her eyes fixed on Aozawa’s taut abdomen. She carefully pressed the wet tissue onto his skin; her fingertips registered a firmness as hard as steel. It was a testament to the willpower Aozawa had honed through relentless daily training. Her mouth felt incredibly dry.
Aozawa reminded her, "Take off your hat first."
"Oh."
Ayatsuki Ayaka, startled into awareness, hurriedly unfastened her hat and placed it aside. Bracing herself with her hands on either side of him, she leaned down towards the tissue.
Aozawa’s abs tensed further, his blood beginning to boil and surge, congregating swiftly in one particular area. He pressed his lips together, waiting quietly.
Her hot breath, washing over his skin, felt as if it could melt his very abs.
Aozawa tilted his head back.
Ayatsuki Ayaka had already clamped onto the tissue with her teeth. The soft touch of her nose and lips breached the ironclad defense of Aozawa’s abdomen, and a wave of relaxation washed over him.
Ayatsuki Ayaka straightened up quickly, the tissue still clenched in her mouth, her large eyes sparkling like gems. Her expression and actions suddenly made Aozawa lament the fact they were on an open, flat lawn. If they had been anywhere with dense woods, he would have pounced on her already.
Ayatsuki Ayaka panted, removing the tissue with her right hand. She cast aside her shyness, a competitive fire igniting within her. "Let’s go again!" she declared. "This time, I’ll definitely beat you!"
"Bring it on!"
Aozawa was fired up too. He longed to relive that sensation, yet he also felt he shouldn’t completely dominate Iroha every time. Games between couples should have winners and losers; it couldn’t be a one-sided crush like when playing with his buddies.
Ayatsuki Ayaka grabbed the dice, shook the dice cup, slammed it down hard, and then opened it to reveal three fives. "Haha, I’ve won for sure!"
"Don’t panic," Aozawa replied. This time, without using his X-ray Ability or Telekinesis, he gave the cup a casual shake.
"A three, a two, and a four! Hehe, you lost!" Ayatsuki Ayaka chuckled. She reached into the box, drew out a slip of paper, and unfolded it.
"The loser must whisper a heartfelt love confession into the winner’s ear for one minute."
There’s such a great option? Aozawa thought. He quickly sat down beside Ayatsuki Ayaka, grasped her shoulders, and leaned close to her ear. "Iroha, I like you. Iroha, I like you..."
THUMP, THUMP, THUMP!
Ayatsuki Ayaka felt as if her heart might leap out of her chest; it was overwhelmingly exciting. She went limp in Aozawa’s arms, listening to the endless "I like you" whispered in her ear. She sincerely thanked Maru and the others in her heart. They wrote such brilliant suggestions!
