Chapter 907: New Depravita Sun

Chapter 907: New Depravita Sun

Vlad, Jormungandr, Freya, Ouroboros, Fafnir, and Overlord all sat in cultivation around the Infernal Monolith of Sector 52, their bodies glowing faintly as they siphoned torrents of Origin Force directly into their Soul Dimensions. Each of them absorbed staggering quantities of power, their auras swelling sharper and heavier with every passing day.

Jormungandr had already finished draining the Infernal Monolith of Sector 53 and returned to join the group. Freya had flown there herself, claimed the monolith in her name, and then returned after only a day and a half. Her control over the Royal Totems, combined with her affinity for light, allowed her to travel across sectors far faster than most.

In one shadowed corner of the throne hall, the seven Nightmare Eye Devils from Sector 52 gorged themselves on the remains of the fallen Sector Masters and every Legendary Devil slain in battle. Their monstrous forms writhed grotesquely, bone spurs splitting through flesh, extra maws gnashing hungrily, new eyes opening like cracks in their skin. Their task was brutal but necessary: accelerate the transformation process until they were ready to merge fully back into the Nightmare Universe. Corpses that could have been dissected for bloodline extraction were instead thrown to the abominations as fuel. Efficiency was all that mattered.

Each day, the room trembled beneath the escalating power. The air thickened, saturated with Origin Force, death-fire, and the oppressive weight of evolving Devils. Until, at last, a violent tremor echoed across the chamber. The True Depravitas and Overlord turned their gazes as one toward the Nightmare Eye Devils of Sector 53. A rare brightness touched their faces.

The feast was complete.

The seven had finished their grotesque transformation, their bodies now perfect extensions of the Nightmare Universe. Their auras reeked of alien hunger, their souls tethered irrevocably to the abyssal consciousness Overlord had lobotomized and enslaved. Ready now to return to their origin, they bore his psychic imprint like chains of command.

Yet the good news did not end there.

A far greater power suddenly flared, drowning out even the madness of the Nightmare Eye Devils. All eyes turned at once to the small yellow cat.

They saw it: a phantom sun of green, burning above Jormungandr. From it descended the vision of a colossal serpent of lightning and life, its coils stretching beyond imagination. The embodiment of Gluttony itself had awakened, endless consumption incarnate, a force that devoured without end.

The little cat’s body trembled, his existence unraveling and reweaving under the birth of his Depravita Sun. Flesh, blood, and soul reshaped themselves in harmony with the blazing green star. His life force surged higher and higher, transcending into a new state. None of the others dared disturb him, for an evolution of this scale was sacred and dangerous. Silence dominated the throne hall until, at last, Jormungandr’s aura stabilized.

The small cat opened his eyes. A wide, toothy smile spread across his face as he flexed his claws and felt his new strength coursing through every vein.

Vlad’s lips curled into a similar smile, though his curiosity was sharper and he sent a silent order.

"A.I. Chip. Scan him."

The bond of trust between Vlad and the True Depravita of Gluttony allowed the analysis to proceed unimpeded. Streams of data flooded Vlad’s mind.

Seal of Sin: World-Devourer Metamorphosis

When activated, the True Depravita of Gluttony becomes the incarnation of endless hunger, his body morphing into a colossal serpent plated in living scales infused with the Law of Life and veined with storm-lit circuitry. A constant Devourer Domain surrounds him, siphoning and consuming every form of energy—heat, light, shock, mana, fire, frost, even hostile vitality.

Racial Skills:

Devouring Ley-Veil: A passive, expanding aura that drinks ambient and directed energies, weakening spells, starving flames, slowing projectiles, and draining stamina. The stolen power is stored as a secondary energy pool, which can be spent to harden scales, extend coils, or unleash devastating chain-lightning counterattacks.

World Serpent Renewal: A Law of Life metabolism that grants feral regeneration. Jormungandr can regrow limbs and organs within heartbeats by metabolizing ambient energy instead of his Depravita Aura.]

Vlad’s grin widened, radiant and sharp as a blade. Thanks to the Law of Life, Jormungandr’s vitality nearly matched his own, despite possessing a lower-tier bloodline. His abilities made him a beast of battle capable of fighting endlessly. And most importantly, when fused, all that strength would flow directly into Vlad through the Eye of Gluttony.

The True Depravita of Wrath’s shoulders relaxed for the first time in days. The Sacred Dimension would be a nightmare of danger. But with Jormungandr’s new evolution, their chances of surviving—and uncovering the portal—had just risen dramatically.

Still, there was no time to indulge in celebration. The sands of Hell’s clock were running thin. Vlad’s eyes hardened, and he turned to Overlord. A subtle nod passed between them. The signal was clear.

Overlord acted without hesitation. He summoned the strongest seven Superior Legends of Sector 52 into the throne hall. At the same time, he merged the already-mutated Superior Legends of Sector 53 back into the Nightmare Universe, weaving new false shells of them to maintain appearances. The process was seamless. By the time the Sector 52 Legends arrived, the Nightmare Eye Devils had returned, waiting with hunger burning in their eyes.

The throne room echoed with screams and futile struggles. Flesh split, bones cracked, souls shrieked. When it ended, seven new Nightmare Eye Devils arose, their wills chained to Overlord. Meanwhile, their false counterparts marched quietly into Sector 53 to maintain the façade of order.

The harvest was complete.

After draining all the Origin Force they could without arousing suspicion, Vlad, Jormungandr, Overlord, Freya, Ouroboros, and Fafnir finally rose into the sky. Their auras were sharp, brimming with restrained power, cutting like celestial blades through the clouds.

Their thrones lay empty, but none dared move against them. Whispers spread across the infernal sectors: the group was moving toward Sector 4. Though their purpose was unspoken, no Devil would dare seize their monoliths in the meantime. To risk drawing the wrath of a Devil Lord was to embrace death.
