"Yes, your holiness." – said the Son Of Glory as he knelt down in front of the communication mirror.
"Hm…. But would they really side with the alliance? Isn't this bit of stretch? I know that you and that princess could not stand each other guts, but still, isn't this way too big of a stretch?"
"I mean, is there any evidence backing up this claim in the first place?"
"No. I don't have anything right now." – said the Son Of Glory.
"But knowing her and her tactic, it would- "
"You know I can't order the hunt for merfolk without a solid proof." – said the holy emperor.
"That is why we planned on getting rid of them in a "accident", in order to make people not aware of our involvement."
"As much as I hate to admit it, until the merfolk takes any actions supporting the alliance, we really can't attack nor declare anything."

"But, if they are really working with the alliance, then they may end up showing themselves soon enough."

"However, one thing that bothers me is how they found out about our plans."
"Was it somebody from your side?"
"No. I've checked everybody." – said the Son Of Glory.
"I've told Iron Will, but he was with me all the time, so he could not have any physical way of even contacting the merfolk."
"Honestly, this is abnormal…. Unless they were ear dropping. But our current security is too tight after the last assignation attempt, so if some sneaky merfolk was spying on us, they would had been caught immediately."

"I see." – said the holy emperor.
"Well, for now focus on the war and put up some men on the look out for the merfolk movement."
"May the heaven be with you."
"May the heaven be with you." – replied the Son Of Glory before the call ended.

*Sigh*
"Prepare to hunt the merfolk." – said the Son Of Glory as he stood up.
"!?"
"But the emperor said that- "
"They will show up." – said the Son Of Glory, cutting off the paladin who wanted to question the order.
"So, what is the point in waiting?"
"These bastards had already betrayed us."
"And I will make sure they will be made example of."
With the disappearance of the merfolk, the holy empire was once again fighting alone against the whole continent.
It may not seem much if you think that the empire is more than strong enough to handle itself…. But the problem was sea.
The winter.
To support their forces across the sea, the empire needs to regularly sends ships on the long journey to reach the continent where the battle was taking place and then go back, repeating this process over and over nonstop.
The empire never did had any problems what so ever when traveling by sea…. But it was only thanks to the merfolk and their magic that they were able to traverse the sea so freely while also boosting their speed.
Not only that, but because of the demon god of the sea influence, the one that had almost destroyed the merfolk kingdom, the sea was infested with sea monsters.
Normally there would be never any problem what so ever, thanks to the merfolk kingdom eliminating any monsters near them, but because all the merfolk suddenly disappeared, nobody was stopping the sea monsters from hunting and reproducing.
This obviously meant huge problem for the holy empire as their ships transport speed had slowed down multiple times because of all the problems.
And that caused the empire to instantly suffer a heavy blow as their forces were much less support from the empire.
"Huh…. You weren't kidding when you said that they would just suffer from not having you by your side." – said the vampire king as he and merfolk princess held a meeting.
"Well, they depend way too heavily on us and looked too much on us…. It was obvious that it would had happened." – said the merfolk princess.
"…Although…. I've made these preparations ages ago, but I doubt they would really buy the whole "sea monsters" extermination part at all…. It may only confuse them for a bit or make it look like the demon god forces did it."
"But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they had already realized if we had betrayed them."
"I see…. So that is what you mean that the best way to sabotage them was to not do anything." – said the vampire king.
"The sea monsters will go rampant and they won't be able to do anything until they deal with them…. But since they can't really work underwater so well, there will be always some monsters out there reproducing, growing in numbers and causing the problem to really never disappear."
(Honestly, I kind of doubted her words regarding that matter… But our spies and scouts are reporting the same thing.)
(I've even ordered the Hunter to go and check it out and she said that the empire soldiers are really having problem with their supplies.)
(The empire is still holding their line of the defense…. But with their support being that much drastically decreased, it is just matter of time before they start getting pushed back.)
(Not only that, but the Doctor had apparently finished making the base version of the anty Great Barrier breach weapon.)
("Kid" went to check it out, to see if it will do.)

"I can tell that you are satisfied." – said the merfolk princess.
"Yes…. Yes I'm." – said the vampire king.
"But you do realize this isn't over, right?"
"Now that you had sided with us, the empire will make sure to exterminate every single one of you."
"So, if this alliance is destroyed and this continent is conquered, you are good as dead, even without bounding contract affecting you."
"I'm aware." – said the princess as she took a sip of tea.
"But you are also aware that you needs us no matter what as well, yes?"
"After seeing what had happened to the empire as soon as we switches sides, things started looking much better for you AND we can provide more if the empire play their cards wrong."
"You need us."
"So you better watch out."

"Heh… I like you." – said the vampire king.
"You can bark because you know you can bite."
"Thank you for the compliment." – said the princess as she finished her tea.
"…. Well then, I'm sorry but I really need to get going already."
"There is still quiet chaos when it comes down to controlling my people, since as you may know, I've killed my own father with cold blood…. So, yea… Goodbye for now." – said the princess before then exiting the room alongside the merfolk and vampire knights.

(She will definitely prove herself as an ally…. And right now? She won't have any other choice than join the organization.)
(Heaven and hell wants to get rid of the merfolk that does not want to fallow their rule….. So, the only way to survive would be the organization.)

"Yes, your majesty?" – asked Gravar as he took out communication orb and answered the call.
"Hey, I have quiet good news mate." - said "Kid" voice.
"The things that the Doctor made? They are working."

"Wait, already?" – asked surprised Gravar.
"What the hell do you mean "already"?" – asked Phantasia voice coming from the communication orb.
"Do you know how much time, money and resources I've had spend on this bloody thing?"
"Em…. I mean, isn't this the first test?" – asked Gravar.
"Nah. This isn't the first test, but this was the first test where the drill was working as intended."
"Anyway, I will do things here and there with blueprint before then letting you have it."
"And with it, we will be able to break that god damned Great Barrier once and for all." – said "Kid".
"What about your side? I've heard some juicy reports coming in recently."
"Yes your majesty." – replied Gravar.
"Things are going way better than we could had imagined after the merfolk sided with us."
"The empire is lacking not only in supplies but also in men power."
"Huh….. Nice." – said "Kid".
"Well then, continue to "deepen" our connection with the merfolk, since in the future they may become our "friends" …. Got it?"
"I understand sir." – said Gravar.
"Good…. Well then, see you soon." – said "Kid".

"Me?" – replied Phantasia.
"Are you going to join a war?" – asked "Kid".
"Obviously." – said Phantasia as he snapped his fingers, before moments later a horde of monsters suddenly appeared.
"Did you really think I was not using my monster factories at all during this god damned time?"
"I've also made some improve in between when I had some free time… So, yea."
"Count me the fuck in."
"Heh…. Nice." – said "Kid".
"Well then, how about a job?"
"A simple one really."

"Considering that you are asking me like this and here….. What sort of nasty plan did you came up with?" – asked Phantasia with a smile.
"Oh, nothing much really…. Just a plan meant to fuck up the empire forces…. Nothing much…." – replied "Kid".
"And possible remove the Son Of Glory out of the picture as well."
"It would be quiet funny…. You know?"
"If both of the holy emperor children were to "disappear" …. Right?"
"Pfffff!"
"So that is your fucking job?! Deal with one of the biggest monsters of the empire?" – asked Phantasia.
"You are fucked up, you know that, right?"
"I know." – said "Kid".
