Chapter 906 - 905

Chapter 906: Chapter 905

"How about it, Rose? Found anything you like?" Sean watched Rosemary for her reaction, "Should I have them wrap everything up so you can take your time deciding at home?"

"No need," Rosemary replied, not particularly taken by any of the designs.

Sean glanced at Romeo, who promptly suggested, "I think this one’s quite nice."

It was a beautiful pink sapphire necklace. Sean immediately agreed, "I also think this one’s great, don’t you, Steward?"

"Ah? Yes, Ms. Rose looks stunning in anything! I think we should get them all. It’s totally normal for a girl to have tons of jewelry."

The truth was Sean wasn’t hurting for cash, and he was really looking forward to spoiling his little sister.

Hearing this was music to Sean’s ears. "Wrap them up."

"Sean," Rosemary cut in, "I already have plenty of jewelry. Mom and Dad, and my other brothers, they’ve already bought me a lot."

She really didn’t want Sean to waste his money on these things.

"But that’s their way of showing they care. They’ve done their part, how can I not do mine? Or is it that you don’t like these designs?" Sean said, turning to the store manager.

The manager promptly asked them to wait a moment and went to retrieve a precious diamond set from the safe—a set so exquisite it hadn’t found a buyer in ten years.

The set included a teardrop diamond necklace, stud earrings, a bracelet, and a stunning ring.

Even the employees, who had been working there for six or seven years, had never seen such a beautiful diamond set.

It was a surprise that their store had jewelry even more dazzling, beautiful, and valuable than their showpiece.

"Nice," Sean and Romeo said in unison, both agreeing, "Better than the ones before."

After saying this, they both looked at each other in surprise, not expecting to have said the same thing twice.

What kind of serendipity was this?

"Help Rose try it on," Sean suggested, knowing that as her brother, it wasn’t appropriate for him to help her with jewelry. That was a job for Romeo, lucky him.

Considering Romeo had just made a helpful comment, Sean didn’t hold as much of a grudge.

Once Romeo helped Rosemary with the jewelry, gasps of admiration filled the room.

"It’s stunning. This set is as if it was custom-made for Ms. Rose. It’s perfect, so gorgeous!"

The manager had overheard Steward calling her Ms. Rose, so he followed suit.

The girl’s beauty wasn’t overshadowed by the sparkle of the diamonds;.Rather, it complemented her, making her look even more beautiful and exuding the air of a well-to-do heiress.

"This set is it, I’ve got to buy it." Sean thought it was breathtaking, the first time he had seen a girl wear jewelry that was so stunning.

"Ms. Rose, this diamond set really suits you, and there’s nothing else like it in the world. It’s the last masterpiece by our former lead designer, Wagner, before he retired. It’s been in our vault for ten years

with no one able to afford it."

Rosemary figured from the manager’s words that the set must be extremely expensive. With her knowledge of jewelry, it must be at least thirty or forty million dollars.

"Please, I don’t want it," she said firmly.

Sean figured she must be put off by the price and didn’t want to proceed with the purchase. He looked toward the manager again.

The manager quickly added, "But for the Collins and McMillian families, such an amount is just a drop in the bucket. Ms. Rose, please take this set, it truly fits your distinguished status."

"No, really, help me take it off," Rosemary insisted, not wanting Sean to splurge.

While Romeo was busy removing the jewelry, Sean swiftly swiped his card to pay and presented the gift box to his sister.

"You’re worried about me splurging, Rose? I’m thrilled you’re so thoughtful, but when it comes to getting something nice for you, I just can’t help myself. Besides, this is nothing compared to that island getaway we talked about!"

Rosemary couldn’t help but giggle at Sean’s mention of the island.

"Sean’s already paid for it, so just accept it," Romeo chimed in, offering his support.

Seeing that Sean had taken care of the bill, Rosemary stopped protesting and reached out to take the gift, saying, "Thanks, Sean."

She knew this outfit had to cost as much as several island vacations.

"What are you thanking me for?" Sean ruffled her hair, surprised at how happy it made him to buy his sister something.

He made a mental note to spoil her more often, to share in her happiness.

"I’ll carry that for you," Romeo said, taking the gift box from Rosemary’s hands.

The store manager and the staff were green with envy.

"Ms. Rose, you’re so lucky. With a brother to foot the bill and Mr. McMillian to carry your things."

"Your brother really dotes on you. We don’t have brothers like that."

"I envy you, Ms. Rose. It’s like you’ve hit the jackpot in life. With a brother and Mr. McMillian watching over you, life must be so blissful and fulfilling."

"If people saw this scene, they’d be so jealous."

"We wish you all the best and hope you have a delightful life. We look forward to seeing you again," the manager and the staff said as they bowed and saw them to the door.

Sean was on cloud nine. He had never realized how much joy he could find in spending time with his sister, and he suddenly understood why his brothers always flew home to spend time with her

whenever they could.

Hanging out with Rose was a breeze compared to dealing with Serena.

Thinking of his other brothers, Sean whipped out his phone and started messaging them one by one, asking if they already knew Romeo was Rose’s beau.

He wondered if he was the last to know.

Hunter replied, [What else did you expect?]

Chasel texted, [Our families have an understanding. Who else but Romeo could be worthy of our sister?]

Clark texted back, [Do I even need to spell it out for you? Just watch how Rose and he are together, and be nice to Romeo. He’s the guy she’s chosen, and she’s fiercely protective of him.]

Sean thought he might have messed up; he had almost gotten into a fight with Romeo. What if Rose got the wrong impression?

David sent a message, [Honestly, no one else is good enough for Rose. It’s hard to let her go, but Romeo’s treatment of her is flawless.]

That was one of the reasons he felt at ease handing his sister over to Romeo.

Seeing how highly his brothers thought of Romeo, Sean noticed Romeo staying close by Rose’s side, mirroring Sean by holding onto the hem of her shirt, careful to maintain a respectful distance.

Clearing his throat, Sean casually suggested, "Maybe I should pick out something for my future brother-in-law?"

Both Rosemary and Romeo were taken aback by Sean’s sudden change of heart.

"Let’s check out this store," Sean said, stepping into a nearby boutique. He approached the sales associate and asked, "Where’s the men’s section?"

He figured buying Romeo a few pieces of clothing might please Rose. Could it smooth over any awkwardness from earlier?

"Sean? Mr. McMillian? President Rosemary?" The sales associate was stunned to see their very own President Rosemary and quickly spoke into their walkie-talkie, "President Rosemary is here, everyone come out to greet her!"
