Qiao Qiao dared not stay too long with Ye Qilan. She went over to Grandma Jiang and asked, “Grandma, where did Su go?”
“She went out for some matters. She didn’t say where, but since Qilan agreed with her going out, it should be fine,” Grandma Jiang replied.
Qiao Qiao felt Grandma Jiang’s words made sense. How possessive is Ye Qilan? Allowing Su Hongxing to go out alone proves there’s no problem.
Su Hongxing intentionally lingered on the road for a while before arriving at Xiao Ji’s apartment.
Xiao Ji was studying a recipe when he saw her arrive and smiled, “Xingxing, cook lunch today.”
Su Hongxing didn’t speak, just went to the kitchen to help.
