Chapter 932: Chapter 930: UNTITLED
While online, the fans and passerby were having a time of their loves, at the studio, everyone sat in the conference room wearing solemn expressions as a meeting was ongoing.
Ivy, wearing a black business suit, looked quite serious as she addressed the staff members.
"This is the first time that the studio staff are going out there to collaborate with the local committee members. You were all chosen for your wonderful skills, and language skills. Don’t put that to waste when you go to your respective job posts tomorrow. Remember what we have talked about. Every single second, and moment matters. You ......"
In order to prepare everyone for the upcoming trip, Ivy drilled the importance of this work trip into everyone’s mind. She didn’t want anyone messing things up for Diamond and hoped that the staff also understood how serious this matter was.
After the meeting, Julia, the vice manager got busy buying tickets for the six teams as well as booking everyone’s accommodation.
While she does so, the six teams’ personnel were busy with their own work. Some were communicating with the local committee members; some were cleaning their equipment and others looking into the feasibility of what the local committee members were planning to do.
No one was lazing around.
As for Ivy, after the meeting, she left the office building and headed to the FPD station where she spent two hours before leaving with a smile.
Back to the Perry sisters, they had a great time. They didn’t go anywhere complicated but went to an arcade hall where they had a great time playing games and competing. It was a visual feast and the two beautiful sisters were easy to spot and recognize.
It was impossible not to find their short videos and photos online. Fortunately, no one dared to come closer or disturb them. They just let them enjoy their moments peacefully.
After a day of playing, the sisters visited a restaurant where they picked a table in the corner instead of a private room.
Their table was filled with a lot of dishes, which they happily enjoyed while having a harmonious conversation.
After that meal, the two sisters didn’t feel like playing anymore, so they returned home where they started packing for their trip back home.
"Sis, how long are we staying?"
"Let’s stay for a week this time. You still need to come and work. Where did you choose again?"
"Oh~ a week is still fine. I can have more time to learn some ropes," Ruby shone as she said that. "As for where to work, let me think more about it!"
The temptations were many. She needed to calm down and think properly.
Diamond didn’t push Ruby after hearing that and decided to give her plenty of time.
The two sisters went to their respective rooms while Auntie Janet prepared dinner for them.
Since they would be gone for a week, Diamond didn’t feel the need to pack a lot of clothes. And it wasn’t like she would be attending some high-end events. So, she simply picked something warm. It was winter and despite not really that cold, for some reasons, she still packed a few tracksuits so that her mother won’t worry.
So, a small suitcase was packed and the rest of the time was spent with her chatting with Gael, who at some point had appeared online.
She only stopped chatting with him when Ruby called her for dinner. It was also late.
The sisters, plus Ivy enjoyed their delicious meal. After the meal, Diamond and Ivy went out for a walk while Ivy personally reported that day’s victories.
"I have received the contacts for the vehicle suppliers. I will talk to them tomorrow morning but I believe that everything will go perfectly well. I have also been receiving calls and messages from these small offices. I will look into them thoroughly and if they are worthy, the foundation will make a donation."
"Um, you deal with it as you see fit. If the workload is too much, don’t hesitate to hire more people. You are not here to drown in work but to make my life easier. So, delegate some of these jobs. By doing so, we help the local folks by providing them with employment and improving their style of life as well."
Despite not having much time to enjoy herself, Diamond had done her best to delegate and leave most of the jobs to the professionals.
If she had done everything herself, she wouldn’t know where she would be right now.
So, she advocates the best to let other people take over while overseeing the rest.
Ivy didn’t object to that. She had been thinking about it and planned to talk about it. However, since Diamond had already brought it up, she readily agreed.
After a short walk, the two returned to the villa and went their separate ways.
Diamond went to her study where she spent two hours looking into company reports. What she wasn’t satisfied about, she made sure she let the other party know and what she liked, she also showed it.
After dealing with work, she finally went to bed to rest. She has a morning flight to Taco Town and had to leave early lest they miss the flight.
Talking about the airport, Diamond remembered the piece of land that she owned.
Suddenly all sleepiness vanished and she entered the Golden Space where she started drafting an overall plan.
Although she had drafted a plan on how she wanted to construct the new land she acquired from Raya, it didn’t hurt to make the plans for formal and have the construction start as soon as possible.
She was reminded that her jet would be available month end. She couldn’t have her jet parked at the airport all the time when she could just have her own.
With the great desire and need to see her jet any time of the day, the new land needed to be developed as soon as possible.
So, she worked on that as well as the rest of the land.
After doing so, she asked for the quote and this time, she couldn’t help but twitch upon seeing the whole bill.
The total project required U$2 billion, which she actually didn’t have to be honest and that was simply too worrisome.
Last time, she didn’t bat an eye when building her ancestral house but now, she couldn’t help but feel vexed.
