Chapter 902: Chapter 900: I MISSED YOU
Leaving that category, there was the food and beverage industry, which was still lagging at the moment. However, she was quite loaded with recipes.
She has dessert recipes which she gave to the café, though they weren’t all. There were rice recipes and stew recipes. Not only that, but she got a Gesalsi snack recipe book as well. Those recipes were enough to open a restaurant or a few more.
After all, she could just open a Gesalsi related restaurant independently. Knowing her fan base, she didn’t have to worry about customers as long as she advertised the business.
So, opening several restaurants wouldn’t hurt. Moreover, when it comes to drinks, there was the peach wine she hadn’t yet started making and the Immortal Dew, which she was certain would drive everyone crazy once they tasted it.
Going through the list, Diamond once again saw the importance of starting a restaurant. She wrote that down in the diary. She was going to work on this project once she was back from seeing her parents.
The other rewards were consumables and didn’t relate to any businesses. However, amidst the planning, she remembered that she was going to open a bank.
It seems that she would need to find the right people for that. However, she didn’t plan to stress herself with that matter. Raya would surely help with that, right?
She didn’t plan to build something exaggerated since the HQ of the bank wouldn’t be in the CBD, but on that piece of land she recently acquired. So, there wouldn’t be much reason to go overboard.
After checking everything, Diamond finally heaved with relief. She should be done, right?
That’s what she thought before she received a call as she was checking which clothes to wear later, since she was having dinner with Waylon.
When she saw the ID caller, she suddenly facepalmed and scolded herself.
How did she forget about these people?
She could only take a deep breath before answering the call, "Will, I have been expecting your call!" and with shameless, outrightly lied.
How could she have been expecting the call when she had forgotten about the matter, with how busy she was?
[I am sorry for the delay. There were a few issues we needed to settle. So, it took longer than we thought and ended up not coming in time.]
These people were supposed to arrive at the start of the month, but that arrival had been delayed until now. Diamond couldn’t help but wonder how Admire must be feeling. After all, she promised him that she would send him some people, but the people never showed up.
Thank goodness Will was finally coming.
"If it is solved, then I am at ease. When are you coming?"
[We will be boarding tomorrow’s flight. We will be there the day after tomorrow. According to the flight’s time, we should be arriving before lunch. But I will communicate.]
"Okay, that’s good. I will come and pick you up in person when the time comes. I will have your residence prepared."
[Thank you, my lady.]
The two chatted for a while before the call ended. When the call ended, her expression turned sullen as it dawned on her.
Where were her ghost merchants going to live?
Suddenly her mind started reeling, searching for an answer, and as she did so, Waylon’s call jolted her back to reality. However, that call brought her an answer.
Her eyes lit up as she found where to put these people, and that brought her relief.
No longer filled with anxiety, she cheerfully picked up the call.
"Hey!" she coquettishly answered, a smile on her face.
[Babe! How are you doing?] Waylon’s pleasant voice rang in her ears.
"Doing pretty well, and you?"
[Just missing you!]
Diamond giggled when she heard that, feeling flustered at his spoken words. They were just ordinary words, and yet when spoken out loud, her heart felt giddy.
This feeling was quite peculiar, and she liked it.
The couple chatted for a while, and Waylon confirmed that Diamond was still up for that dinner date with him. Once that was confirmed, he promised to come and pick her up. Diamond didn’t decline.
After the call ended, she called Auntie Janet and informed her not to prepare her share for dinner. Once that was done, Diamond’s thoughts returned to the matter of housing the ghost merchants. However, this time, unlike before, she had an idea of where to place them.
And it was all thanks to Waylon’s call.
She still has an unoccupied villa where Waylon lives. So why not use that villa to let her distinguished guests live?
She didn’t need to worry about transport. After all, whenever they come to her, they have their own mode of transport. So why waste money?
With that decision made, Diamond finally let go of working. It was time to rummage through her closet and see what clothes she could wear for the dinner date later.
She left the study for her bedroom and spent some quality time searching for clothes. In the end, she picked a beautiful magenta jumpsuit and a pearl jewelry set and matching shoes.
Once done, she went for a quick wash and spent considerable time combing her hair.
"Should I visit the salon anytime soon, now?" she muttered as the comb ran through the long hair easily.
Combing hair was truly tiring. She needed to style her hair and make her life easier.
After combing her hair, she tied it into a bun and added some hair ornaments. No matter what, dressing beautifully for a date was the most appropriate.
Once done, she took several selfies and kept them in her gallery. They would come in handy at some point.
Diamond packed her handbag and, after getting what she wanted, left the bedroom and headed downstairs, where she waited in the living room.
Rather than waiting blindly, she took out her phone and started checking her emails. While going through the emails, she couldn’t help but remember something; the staff should have arrived.
So, she called Ivy, who hadn’t returned home and listened to what she had to say.
Everyone had arrived, and Ivy was busy settling them in their apartments. Hearing that, Diamond was relieved and told Ivy that she would meet everyone tomorrow at the agency and treat them to lunch. She still needed to get to know these people since she would be working with them for a long time.
After the call, Waylon’s call came through, and he was about to reach the gate. Diamond called the security at the gate to let Waylon through.
With the call made, Diamond rose to her feet and left the villa resolutely under the cheering gaze of Auntie Janet.
She spotted a flashy red Angel sports car heading towards her, and a smile blossomed on her face.
She didn’t know how rich Waylon was personally, but since he came from such a large family, he should be rich. Of course, he wasn’t richer than she. Not that she was bragging, but she was being truthful. Anyway, regardless of how rich the other party was. Diamond didn’t care much about that. What mattered to her were the feelings between them.
If he doesn’t treat her well, then she will just ditch him for another one. The world was so large, and it was impossible for her not to find someone who would like her genuinely. There were many options out there to focus on a single tree.
The red car came to a halt, and Diamond started moving toward the car.
The driver’s door opened and rose into the air. It was a scissor door. It reminded her of her latest car. When was she going to drive it?
Anyway, that thought was quickly thrown out the window the moment she saw her trial boyfriend.
She couldn’t whistle inwardly as the young man walked towards her, looking very handsome in black and white.
He wasn’t dressed over the top, but he looked like a mannequin that made any type of clothes put on it fit to perfection.
She was first attracted to Waylon because of his looks when she saw him, and that didn’t seem to have changed even now.
He looked much more attractive, and looking at him, flashing a smile at her, Diamond wanted to claim him and make him hers.
Should she just agree to be his girlfriend?
"I missed you!" as he approached her, he coyly said, making Diamond smile shyly.
As for her hurry to make him hers, she temporarily pushed them aside. Such a vixen, wouldn’t she be falling into a trap if she did that?
She wasn’t going to fall easily, but that didn’t mean that she wasn’t going to enjoy the process.
"I missed you as well," she responded as she opened her arms.
Waylon wasn’t bashful at all but readily hugged Diamond the moment he came closer.
He buried his face in her neck, inhaling her floral body scent, which he so much loved.
He was taller than her, and Diamond loved that height difference. His arms were wrapped around her, and she could feel his masculine body.
There was a difference between Waylon and Gael, but she didn’t dislike that at all.
It was good that both her men had different traits. That makes the whole experience very intriguing.
What would be the purpose of having multiple partners when they were the same?
