Chapter 912: Chapter 910: SISTERS MEET
It was supposed to be another day where she was supposed to be resting, but how could that be possible?
After having breakfast, Diamond told Auntie Janet not to disturb her and vanished into her bedroom, where she emerged around four that evening.
She wasn’t in the bedroom, perse, but spent her time in the Golden Space, busy as a bee.
Previously, Diamond packaged the Immortal Dew wine, which hasn’t made its debut yet, and this time, she planned on making the peach wine.
There were a lot of ripe peaches that could be used to make the wine. So that day, she not only bought distilling equipment but suitable containers to bottle the wine as well.
Unlike the previous woody wine with several tiers, the peach wine simply came in two tiers, which she categorizes as S and SS.
The wine was more inclined towards females, especially the S tier. It didn’t make the drinker overly drunk as it wasn’t that strong. It was mild like a fruit wine, but the SS-tier wine was slightly different. Even men can drink it.
After all, men tend to drink heavily than women. It was just a matter of playing with dilution in her case. She wanted to attract both men and women with her drinks.
In order to do all that, she spent so much effort inside the space. From brewing, rapid fermentation of the wine, bottling it, branding it and sealing it in the appropriate packages.
After doing so, Diamond set aside a few bottles for tomorrow’s banquet. She was planning on gifting the old man some wine. Which man didn’t like wine?
Being rich, Mr. Mainley wouldn’t lack anything. So, she planned to gift him something that no one else would.
After finishing all that, she visited the wine tree and was very excited when she saw that there was a lot of harvest to be done.
The fairy sister who was more into seclusion recently also appeared and lent a hand.
At the same time, she learnt about the mysterious seed that was planted a while ago. That seed was still consuming a lot of spiritual energy but hadn’t shown any signs of breaking through the soil yet.
She didn’t know what kind of ancestor the system gave her, but she hoped that it wouldn’t disappoint her when it actually sprouted.
She harvested several barrels again and repeated the familiar process without breaking a sweat. With more wine in the mix, Diamond knew that she wouldn’t need to brew wine for a long time.
She took several rests during the process to eat and munch on snacks or fruits.
Noticing that she wasn’t tired, she worked on the farm, slaughtered some animals and packaged them before finishing off with some martial arts practice.
When she finally came out of the space, she didn’t feel any fatigue at all, but very refreshed.
She left her bedroom and went to her study, where she didn’t check on business reports but rather spent her time chatting with Gael, Nolan and Wyatt. She had a great time, and time quickly flew without her knowing.
For dinner, she ate alone since Ruby wasn’t coming, and that made her wonder what her baby sister was doing. For a moment, she was tempted to use Andrea to spy on Ruby, but then quickly stopped herself. That wasn’t very good. Her sister deserves some privacy as well.
After dinner, she sat in the living room watching TV while playing on her phone, checking her social media accounts to see what was happening.
With the studio now working full time, she was freer and didn’t have to worry about anything else at all.
The voting was ending tomorrow, and the following procedures were all left to Ivy to deal with.
Somewhere around 11 pm, just as Diamond was about to give up and go to her room, she heard Andrea saying, {Mother, little aunt is here!} and Diamond sprang to her feet happily.
"Open the garage for her!" she instructed as she made way towards the staircase, ready to meet her baby sister.
{Sure.}

Meanwhile, Ruby was finally at ease as she saw the garage door opening. Without waiting outside, she drove straight inside.
She didn’t know that there would be slight traffic just before she left the CBD. Otherwise, she would have arrived earlier. Her sister should be awake, right?
She pondered as she parked the car in an empty slot.
Ruby looked around the car and picked up her handbag before alighting from the car. The moment she stepped outside, she spotted her sister coming out through the door that had the staircase and was beaming.
"Sister!" Ruby cheerfully called as she beamed at Diamond.
Diamond smiled helplessly as she looked at Ruby and called back, "You surely know the time to come home, huh!"
Ruby stuck her tongue playfully at Diamond when she heard that.
"Hehe, don’t blame me. Blame the traffic!" she coquettishly said as she skipped towards Diamond.
Diamond burst into a chuckle when she heard that and didn’t admonish Ruby after hearing that.
The Court was far to be honest. Every time, one must drive for two hours or more to reach the inner part of the CBD. If there is traffic, then you will be in for a good ride.
She wasn’t really scolding Ruby but goofing around.
The two sisters embraced in a hug, and Diamond felt very refreshed. It’s been a while since she saw Ruby, and it felt great having her by her side.
After the sisters greeted each other, they carried Ruby’s things inside the house, and Andrea dutifully locked the doors.
Auntie Janet had already retired for the night, and so was Ivy. So, the two sisters went straight to Ruby’s room first.
Diamond didn’t help Ruby to arrange her bags at all. That was her job. Why should she join in the fun?
However, the two sisters didn’t go to bed that fast but sat on the couch as they chatted.
"When are the results coming out?"
"What about opening day?"
"Did you arrange any meetups with your friends during this period?"
Diamond was a very concerned sister who wanted to know about Ruby’s school life, and Ruby was eager to share about her school matters with Diamond as well.
They were pretty harmonious during the conversation.
When the school topic was exhausted, Diamond suddenly raised a topic that she had been wanting to talk to Ruby about, but because of school, could only push it aside.
"Ruby, do you want to go to a banquet with me as my plus one?"
Thinking about the Mainley banquet she was invited to. Diamond could bring another person with her, and the first person she thought about was Ruby.
There was no need for her to bring Waylon. His family should be invited. After all, those families were in the same group.
The majority of people that Diamond was close to were all part of the upper circle, so the invitation was basically useless to them. Moreover, rather than uplifting outsiders, going with Ruby was the best choice for her.
She wanted her sister to be acquainted with the young ladies of these families. If she could make more friends, then she would be relieved.
Diamond didn’t really mind if her friends were few. She was starting to realize that time to really strengthen her bond with friends physically, she didn’t have.
Online, that could be done, but meeting in person. It was so hard. She didn’t even have time to spare for herself, let alone dating, so what about friends?
She decided to take that one step at a time. But Ruby didn’t have much to do at the moment. She could still spare a lot of time to go on outings with her friends. She didn’t want Ruby to be in her position, where she would find peace through chatting with fans when she could have friends.
***
When Ruby heard that, she was astonished. She remembered clearly how Sean talked about the matter and whether she would come or not. She wasn’t sure. After all, she had never attended any banquets before.
Moreover, even if she goes there, what would she do?
She didn’t have many friends in the upper circle; she would only become a nuisance. Her sister, on the other hand, was different. She didn’t worry about Diamond at all, but a part of her was quite curious about what such events would be like.
As for asking Diamond, she didn’t dare. She didn’t want Diamond to look at her as if she were being too forward.
So, she was completely taken aback when Diamond asked her to be her companion. She expected that Diamond might bring one of her friends, but instead, it was her?
Ruby’s hands trembled, not in fear but sheer excitement as she thought about her first-ever high-profile event, but then realization suddenly dawned on her.
What was she going to wear?
And her face turned sullen.
