“I can prove that Jeremy Cooper’s words are true.”
A figure suddenly emerged from behind the crowd of reporters.
He walked very slowly, with a deep and intense tone, as if desperately suppressing something.

But his hunched posture and bowed head made him barely noticeable among the crowd.
He stepped forward, his head lowered, wearing a flat cap and dressed in a sportswear and jeans, making it hard to see his face clearly.
From his attire, however, he looked more like an ordinary paparazzi.
Tara Hammond noticed this with a flicker of doubt in her eyes.
She felt the more she looked at this person, the more familiar he seemed.
The other reporters didn’t think much of it, simply considering him a peer.
Thinking he had some exclusive information, they swiftly and gossipingly asked, “Hey hey, if you’ve got evidence, hurry and show us, we’re all waiting for the scoop!”
“Yeah, how can you prove Jeremy Cooper’s words are true? Did you also manage to capture evidence of Lady Hammond seducing Mr. Lucas and having an affair with Robbie Bright?”
“Please don’t spread rumors!” Tara Hammond feared the reporters would write recklessly, so she quickly clarified.
“I must state again, when I was with Mr. Lucas, he had already separated from his ex-wife. Also, I amicably parted with Mr. Lucas. I am in a proper relationship with Mr. Bright, so please don’t fabricate stories!”

“You’re talking nonsense, there’s nothing of the sort!” Tara Hammond’s voice instantly heightened after being exposed in public.
She’s sure this reporter must have been bribed by Jeremy Cooper, somehow finding out about her past to deliberately cause trouble.
“Which newspaper are you from? If you continue to talk without proof, be careful, I’ll sue you for slander!”
“Heh, I might not have evidence, but I myself am the best proof.” The man who had been bowing his head and hunching suddenly stood straight.
When he stabilized, even in the most ordinary and cheap sportswear, his tall and upright figure still emitted an invisible pressure.
“You… you are…” Tara Hammond’s face showed terror, her left eye exposed outside the bandage unwillingly widened.
