Chapter 831: The Coalition Against Shane
Many of the Survivors only saw Lancelot as Rank 2...
They didn’t realize that Rank 9 and Rank 10 were already his puppets, and that through them, he effectively controlled three high-ranking Clans.
And soon... through this coalition forming against Shane, he would control even more.
"Go ahead," he whispered, amused as he read through the chat logs...
"Build your alliance. Forge your resistance. I’ll be there to lead you all... And when the moment comes, I’ll be the one to take everything."
Then, Lancelot chuckled softly as he read the replies of the two Clan Leaders...
Zane and Galatea’s clans had previously failed to eliminate a Zombie Lord, and it almost went on a rampage.
The Zombie Lords had almost become a Field Boss because of that.
Everyone knew that a Zombie Lord who had left its Territory would have its limiter removed and obtain stronger power. After that, they would have control over the surrounding Zombies.
If that had happened, their Clan Shelters and whatever things they built would have been destroyed.
However, Lancelot and his Overlord Clan prevented all of that from happening. He also helped them rebuild their Clan and handed over various technologies, shared Survivor Skill scrolls, and various resources that his Alliance could give. In the process, he also sent a few trusted people to be part of the upper echelons of the Clan.
It was to slowly gain control of the Clan itself and to ensure that the Clan Leaders would be aligned with his goals.
Of course, Lancelot was careful and didn’t invite the Celestial Circle and Stormcall Assembly into his Lord Alliance that already had a dozen Clans.
Instead, he decided to make them his secret allies to ensure that no matter what happened with his Lord Alliance, he would have another place he could use.

Zane smiled after seeing Lancelot’s message.
It had been a while since the man had contacted them...
His Stormcall Assembly had grown steadily after Lancelot’s assistance...
The three Shelters under his control are bustling with nearly three thousand survivors in total.
They were not weak, but they were not yet at the level to contend with the Overlord Clan or New Haven on their own.
Still, their shelters had a lot of people thanks to their supplies of Recruitment Stones.
On the other hand, Galatea only seemed a bit amused about Lancelot’s plans...
Unlike Zane, she only had one Shelter. It was her Celestial Circle’s pride.
With just five hundred people, they were smaller, but their daily control over twelve Zombie Nests had turned them into a clan with frightening combat power per capita.
Her fighters were stronger on average than most clans twice her size. Their Zombie Cores and Experience Points were steadily increasing thanks to these Zombie Nests.
Nonetheless, both of them owed their current stability to one man.
Lancelot.
The resources he had provided, the timely reinforcement during their darkest hour against the Zombie Lord, the Survivor Skill scrolls that gave their elites temporary immunity to the Z-Virus... These weren’t things easily forgotten. Nor were they free.
Zane and Galatea understood very well that by accepting Lancelot’s "help," they had stepped into his shadow.
Still, in the eyes of the world, they were independent. And tonight, they would play their role.
[ Zane (Sector 13): I support the idea of a coalition. The Survivor Pact sounds promising. Count Stormcall Assembly in.]
[ Galatea (Sector 14): Celestial Circle will join as well. We believe in unity and in balance. If we’re voting for a leader, I cast my vote for Natalie of New Haven.]
The chat exploded after seeing the two Clan Leaders...
[ Devon (Sector 4): Whoa. Rank 9 and 10 just joined?! This is getting serious.]
[ Myla (Sector 7): Yes! Thank you, Zane and Galatea. With your support, we can actually make this work.]
[ Leon (Sector 2): That’s huge. If they’re in, then this coalition isn’t just talk anymore.]
[ Omar (Sector 6): Survivor Pact is officially alive.]
[ Sasha (Sector 10): I didn’t expect Galatea to vote for Natalie. That’s a power move.]
[ Khalid (Sector 22): If Celestial Circle and Stormcall Assembly are backing Natalie, then she’s basically our leader already.]
The momentum was undeniable. Survivors from every Sector began chiming in.
[ Takuya (Sector 11): I vote for Natalie too. Her Clan has healing, holy water, and actual priests. That’s leadership material.]
[ Hana (Sector 5): Same here. New Haven has always helped smaller Clans. They’re not just strong—they’re kind.]
[ Elliot (Sector 16): I’ll admit, I was skeptical. But if Galatea trusts her, then maybe Natalie’s the real deal.]
[ Peter (Sector 6): I’ve seen New Haven’s Archbishop Talent in action. It’s insane. They cured my cousin’s infection when no one else could.]
[ Sebastian (Sector 20): If Natalie leads, I’ll follow. She’s the only one who can stand beside Shane without being overshadowed.]
Then, just as the chat was at its peak, Natalie had finally joined.
[ Natalie (Sector 4): I’ve been reading. And yes... I accept. If the Survivor Pact truly seeks unity, healing, and strength, then New Haven will stand at its heart. ]
The chat erupted.
[ Devon (Sector 4): SHE’S HERE! ]
[ Myla (Sector 7): YESSSSS! ]

A few minutes before Natalie’s message lit up the World Chat, she and Shane were already deep in conversation... It was done privately, of course.
[ Natalie: You’ve stirred the whole world again. Floating Fortress, Vampire Lord extermination... You really know how to make an entrance. ]
[ Shane: Wasn’t trying to. Just doing what needed to be done. Didn’t expect half the planet to start forming coalitions overnight. ]
Calling it half the planet was a bit of an exaggeration, but Natalie didn’t mind. The two weren’t new to each other anyway...
[ Natalie: You know how it is. Power attracts fear. And fear breeds alliances. ]
[ Shane: I’m not against unity. But if they’re uniting just to fight Eclipse Revenant, that’s a problem. ]
[ Natalie: I agree. That’s why I’m messaging you first. I’ve seen the chat. They’re already voting for me to lead the Survivor Pact. ]
