Chapter 554: Going on a date in... Las Vegas

Night flowed across the road like a black cloak studded with distant diamonds. The deep rumble of the gold Lamborghini Aventador dominated the desert silence, each acceleration echoing like metallic thunder. The car sounded like a caged beast, spewing energy from its exhaust pipes, and behind the wheel, Vergil drove as if he had nothing to prove to anyone.

This wasn’t just a machine. It was a symbol. Luxury, power, speed—and, to make matters worse, he’d simply stolen it from Sapphire’s garage. There was a 99% chance it was Katharina’s car, which only made the scene even more absurd. But Vergil didn’t seem to care.

Inside the car, the atmosphere was completely different. Alexa was sitting on his lap, since the Aventador only had two seats. Her body fit almost perfectly, her generous curves molded against his, while her orange hair with green tips swayed in the wind escaping through the cracks in the window.

She leaned back slightly, leaning against Vergil’s chest, and every now and then let out a soft laugh, clearly enjoying the position.

"This is so tight..." Alexa teased, turning her head slightly to look at him over her shoulder. Her eyes shone in the neon light of the highway, full of mischief. "But I won’t complain."

Vergil didn’t respond immediately. His left hand was firmly on the steering wheel, while his right rested dangerously close to her thigh, almost as if intentional. His gaze remained fixed on the road, cool, but the lopsided smile at the corner of his lips revealed he was enjoying her discomfort.

Behind them, on the makeshift bench Kaguya had managed to squeeze into, sat the white-haired, red-eyed vampire, clearly in a bad mood.

"This is ridiculous," Kaguya grumbled, crossing her arms beneath her ample bust, which seemed even more prominent in the uncomfortable position. "Why does she get to sit on her master’s lap, and I have to be crammed back here like some mortal?"

Alexa turned around deliberately, arching her back and showing off her curves even more, as if she were parading just to provoke. "Because I got here first. And because I’m cuter, obviously."

"Cute?" Kaguya arched an eyebrow, her smile almost threatening. "As cute as you are, you’re also insufferable."

Vergil just let out a low laugh, his eyes never leaving the road. "You two look like teenagers fighting for attention."

"We’re not fighting." Kaguya immediately retorted, her tone almost childish, despite the sensuality that oozed from her every gesture. "I’m just saying I want my right to sit on the master’s lap."

Alexa laughed, biting her lower lip as she subtly swayed, enjoying the provocation. "You’ll have to wait your turn."

The tension between them was electric, but not hateful. It was as if every word, every gesture, was a way of marking territory, of reminding each other that they were competing for something not easily shared: Vergil’s attention.

And he, of course, enjoyed every second.

The car roared down the road, and the neon lights of Las Vegas were already beginning to appear in the distance, like colored flames against the darkness. The city was a mirage of sin, and it seemed almost funny that this trio—a demon, a vampire, and a werewolf—was headed there.

Kaguya, irritated at being in the back, leaned forward, bracing herself between the seats to bring her face closer to his. Her white hair fell like a silky veil, and her red eyes glowed intensely under the nightlights.

"Master..." she murmured, with a seductive smile. "If you don’t let me sit up front, I’ll be very upset."

Alexa rolled her eyes. "Are you going to try to charm him again? Seriously, Kaguya, you’re so predictable."

"Predictable?" The vampire smiled, exposing her fangs slightly. "Or just effective?"

Vergil didn’t answer, but his smile widened. His right hand finally moved, resting firmly, almost possessively, on Alexa’s thigh. She shivered, biting her lip hard to keep from letting out an involuntary moan.

Kaguya, seeing his reaction, narrowed her eyes. "That’s not fair." "Life isn’t fair," Vergil replied, without even looking at her. The sentence was sharp, but there was subtle amusement in his voice.

The atmosphere in the car oscillated between provocation and pure sexual tension. Kaguya, even irritated, couldn’t hide how attractive she looked: the short black satin dress molded her curves almost cruelly, revealing long legs and a breathtaking figure. Her red eyes, contrasting with her pale skin and white hair, made her seem like a living work of art—dangerous and irresistible.

Alexa, on the other hand, radiated wild energy. Her orange hair with green tips gleamed under the streetlights, and her body, molded in tight clothing that accentuated every detail, brimmed with vitality. There was something primal about her, something that screamed nature and desire at the same time.

Vergil was aware of it. They were both dangerous, lethal, but tonight, inside that Lamborghini, they were just beautiful women fighting for his attention.

"We’re almost there," he said finally, his deep voice filling the car. "Las Vegas is waiting."

"I hope you didn’t bring me here just to waste time," Kaguya replied, still leaning forward, her cool breath brushing his ear.

"Waste time?" Alexa smirked, sliding her fingers down Vergil’s chest. "With him, nothing is a waste of time."

The roar of the gold Lamborghini Aventador cut through the silence of the desert when, suddenly, a blue and red reflection flashed in the rearview mirror. Immediately after, the siren echoed, loud and insistent.

"Hm." Vergil let out a low, almost amused laugh. "That’s a first. The first time the police have stopped me."

Alexa looked back, resting her arm on the back of the seat, her orange hair with green tips falling like a shiny waterfall. She smiled broadly, her mischievous eyes sparkling.

"Seriously? After everything you’ve done, only now has a cop had the courage?"

Kaguya, for her part, adjusted her short dress, as if preparing for a private show. The neckline highlighted every detail of her flawless body, and the way she crossed her legs would have mesmerized any mortal.

"Poor thing..." she murmured, smirking. "You have no idea what you’re about to see."

Vergil calmly parked on the shoulder, muting the roar of the golden vehicle. The darkness of the road was cut by the patrol car’s flashlight, and within seconds a sweaty, middle-aged police officer approached the car.

"Good evening..." he began, but the words died in his throat as his eyes fell on the interior of the Aventador.

First, he saw Alexa sitting on Vergil’s lap, her body perfectly fitted against his. Then, his eyes inevitably drifted to Kaguya in the backseat, with her impeccable white hair, sparkling red eyes, and the dress that looked like sin sewn from fabric.

The man swallowed hard, his face flushing as if he’d been caught red-handed.

Vergil sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Pathetic."

Then, without bothering to look back, he said matter-of-factly, "Kaguya. Fix this."

The vampire’s lips curved into a mischievous smile. She leaned forward, bracing herself between the seats, and called to the officer in a soft, almost melodic tone:

"Look deep into my eyes..."

The officer, even trying to resist, felt himself drawn into the crimson glow of her eyes. His body stiffened, his breathing slowed, and within seconds, he was completely surrendered.

"Now..." Kaguya’s voice sounded like sharp silk, "obey."

Without another word, the officer turned in absolute silence, his movements robotic, and began walking back to his patrol car.

Alexa laughed, leaning closer against Vergil. "You should charge for this show."

Vergil, however, simply started the car again, the engine roaring like a awakened dragon. He drove off calmly, without looking back. But a few seconds later, the silence of the road was shattered by a deafening explosion. The sky behind them glowed red and orange, illuminating the desert for an instant.

Vergil arched an eyebrow, not slowing down. "Kaguya..." he murmured, his tone somewhere between amusement and suppressed irritation. "What exactly did you tell him to do?"

In the backseat, the vampire rested her chin on her hand, her eyes shining with pure satisfaction.

"Nothing much," she replied innocently, but the smile on her lips betrayed otherwise. "I just made sure no one but you had the right to look at my body." ^^

Alexa laughed, throwing her head back. "Did you kill him?"

Kaguya smiled and said, "I told him to kill himself." She smiled like a demon.
