405: Chapter 404: Invisibility Infiltration 405: Chapter 404: Invisibility Infiltration Suddenly…
A figure flashed by.
Ning Fan held the prisoner’s head and slightly moved his elbow, breaking the prisoner’s neck in the blind spot of the surveillance camera.
He silently took care of the prisoner.
“This place really stinks!”
Disgusted, Ning Fan pinched his nose and then dragged the prisoner’s body into the solitary confinement room.
Ahead was a long corridor with many rooms.
A man in surgical attire was pushing a prisoner into one of the solitary confinement rooms.
Ning Fan pulled out Silver Needle and was ready to kill Dr.
Wood as well.
However, the other party seemed not to realize that Ning Fan was an intruder; instead, he calmly looked at Ning Fan and the corpse at his feet.
“Can I have that?”
“What?”
“I want to see what color his organs are.”
“…Are you crazy?”
“No, but I used to be a psychiatrist for a while.
I was fired for mistreating patients.
I really enjoy my current job; the operating table is a place I’ve always longed for.”
Ning Fan stared at Dr.
Wood, fully convinced that the man opposite him was a complete lunatic.
Dr.
Wood said calmly, “I’ve been studying how to swap two people’s heads recently; it’s a shame you killed him.
Otherwise, I could have used them both for experiments.
So, could you hand him over to me?
I believe his organs must be beautiful.”
Ning Fan took a sharp breath.
Although he had expected that there would be no normal people in Death Prison, this doctor’s behavior greatly surprised him.
After considering, he nodded, “Alright, but you need to do something for me.”
“What is it?”
“Bring over another prisoner.”
“How about two?
Can I use the other one for a head switch?”
“…Whatever you want.”
Ning Fan’s face twitched, and dark lines hung across his forehead.
He had not been inside long, but he was already unable to tolerate this perverse place.
Dr.
Wood chuckled lightly, first pushed the prisoner into the solitary confinement room, and then came out to walk over to the intercom next to Ning Fan.
He pressed one of the buttons saying, “Bring two prisoners to help me carry stuff to the kitchen, and have the chef prepare as usual.”
Dr.
Wood pulled down his mask and licked his dry lips, his eyes surreptitiously glancing at the blue barrel next to him.
Instinctively, Ning Fan felt disgusted by that barrel; definitely, it contained nothing good.
Ning Fan was not afraid of Dr.
Wood pulling any tricks.
This person clearly looked like someone who only cared about his own interests.
Rather than reporting him by ringing the alarm bell, this lunatic was probably more concerned about the upcoming brain-swapping operation.
Approximately five minutes later, two prisoners arrived.
Ning Fan, hidden in the shadows, immediately acted, killing one and knocking out the other.
Three prisoners lay on the ground; the only unconscious one was carried into the solitary confinement room by Dr.
Wood like a starved tiger pouncing on its prey.
Ning Fan looked unwillingly at the lit solitary confinement room.
Was he abetting tyranny by doing this?
I always feel that it might be better to just kill the person and end their pain quickly.
“By the way, sir, the management of the prison is quite strict.
I can handle this guy’s intercom for now, but regardless of whether you and your friend answer or not, you will be discovered eventually.
The warden and his people are very formidable.”
Dr.
Wood’s head protruded from the room, his deep and terrifying eyes resembling an abyss, and even Ning Fan felt a chilling sensation looking into them.
Ning Fan hesitated as he looked at Dr.
Wood, unsure whether to kill him to silence him.
Though he was willing to believe Dr.
Wood would focus on the surgery and not report him, he truly despised such a perverted individual.
But perhaps because the man reminded him, Ning Fan retracted the Silver Needle and quickly stripped the clothes from two prisoners on the floor.
He had entered using Invisibility, but Alei was still outside.
He had to return once to bring the clothes to Alei, then both of them would sneak in together and search for Ouyang Feifei.
As for why he didn’t ask Dr.
Wood whether he knew about Ouyang Feifei, Ning Fan didn’t think he would get any information from him.
After changing into the prisoner’s clothes and donning the other’s iron jacket, Ning Fan’s figure disappeared.
…
“These clothes are too tight!” Alei muttered as he walked behind Ning Fan.
Ning Fan found that uniform for Alei, which was at least two sizes too small; the iron jacket was eventually discarded because it simply wouldn’t fit.
“We don’t have much time left, we need to find her quickly,” Ning Fan reminded, cutting off Alei’s muttering.
Alei pursed his lips and began to scrutinize their surroundings.
The prison was built underground.
The first level looked no different from a regular prison, but upon descending to the second level and pushing open the door, the foul stench that greeted them was a formal welcome to Ning Fan and Alei.
The entire structure of the prison was like an air raid shelter, dark and damp, with a smell in the air that was not only bloody but also like excrement.
In front of Ning Fan and Alei was a pitch-dark corridor with dim lighting, and every few meters, there were passages on both sides with iron doors, behind which many prisoners were detained.
“Officer, ask Dr.
Wood if my hand tastes good?”
Suddenly, a deep voice came from the side, and a disheveled man pressed a hand against the iron door, darkly addressing Ning Fan and Alei.
“And tell that fat deadbeat in the kitchen not to fall asleep.
He dared to chop off my hand; I must make him pay me back!”
The prisoner with a chopped-off right hand glared at Ning Fan and Alei like a vengeful ghost.
“Shut up!”
A tall, large man in prison clothes appeared behind the handicapped prisoner and pressed his hand on the other’s head.
With a bang, the handicapped prisoner’s head was squeezed into the iron bars of the door and stuck there.
“Let’s go,” Ning Fan patted the somewhat dazed Alei.
Meanwhile, in the prison’s control room, a young man with his legs crossed was sipping coffee, coldly observing the surveillance footage in front of him.
The screen clearly showed Ning Fan and Alei moving around inside the prison.
Next to him stood several fully armed men in iron armor.
“Group D was called away by Dr.
Wood ten minutes ago, and then two of them lost contact, and before that, a member of Group B also lost contact after visiting Dr.
Wood.
The two in the surveillance wearing uniforms are those two from Group D.”
